Celebrities hooked on Twitter
Celebs have arrived in the world of twitter – you can’t turn on the TV or the radio without a journalist speaking about the latest post from Elijah Wood or Stephen Fry being stuck in a lift for instance – I’m so sick of it!!
Latest news on board: Erykah Badu Twittered the recent birth of her child. Ashton Kutcher sent a support “tweet” to Michael Phelps after his marijuana photo disaster.

More in here
I don’t really know if it is cool to know all these details…but it is actually worries me…sometimes…Was just randomly looking up my favorite Molly Jensen alias Demi Moore a couple of days ago and guess what – there are about 4 of them!! Let’s have a look at Angelina Jolie – 3 of them…
So which one is the right one? How can I be sure it is not a random hacker or spammer??
That got me thinking of how easy it is for someone to pretend to be a star or anyone. In Britney’s case, her real account was hacked and thanks to that her followers were being told all sorts of lies about her.
Thanks to hackers, these fans have been advised that Britney Spears has, ummm, undergone a rather radical transformation: “HI Yall! Brit Brit here, just wanted to update you all on the size of my vagina. Its about 4 feet wide with razor sharp teeth.”
Within seconds, the announcement had spread across the all world. Thousands of her fans learned about her alleged case of vagina dentata, as it disseminated across the web.
It wouldn’t have been the first time that Britney – or her PR people – made an unexpected disclosure via Twitter and surely not the last time Brit will be the victim of such a scam.
However, I just wanted to emphasize that this just ONE example among MANY others and demonstrates how the twitter madness around celebrities everyday.
The offending message has now obviously been removed from Spears’s Twitter account, and all seems back to normal. Following that, Twitter has posted phishing tips inside of their blog to help all users remain safe… but again be aware someone is surely spying you at any times! (Shall I remind you the sad story of the French user Marc L?)
